Artist Of The Day: Boyce Avenue

Boyce Avenue, heard this band for the 1st time and they became one of my faves in an instant, an Ecuatorian American acoustic rock band was formed in Sarasota by Manzano brothers. The bad was formed in 2004 and in 2007 they started posting videos on youtube, either their original and covers. Many of their videos have reached millions of views. This band has over 300 friggin million views on youtube and counting, they're distinct with their unique cover songs.

So i was just looking for photos on flickr and ran into this guy's photostream and i was like "daaamn" this guy can take brilliant HDR photos! And i was looking at his albums from the last page to page 1 with words like "cool, damn, sh*t" etc on my mind. Hans Zimmer!!!!!!

 

Hans Zimmer, i believe he is like the best of the bestest film score composers ever lived :D He produced soundtracks of more than 100 films and they're like friggin awesome! I bet u've seen Batman, Caribbean Pirates, Gladiator, Sherlock Holmes, Inception etc... even Simba... i mean the Lion King and many other great films' scores were produced by this German dude! These videos are some of his talent's highlights. With youtube out there, u can find all of his full soundtracks so i didn't bother myself putting loads of videos here :P

Unique Photography Of Noah Kalina

 

Noah Kalina, this photographer grabbed my attention with his viral video called "everyday" in which he took his own portrait everyday for 6 years and then made it into a video in sequentially order which it made a quite strong art piece and showed a true consistency to his work and also his unique photographs. Some might find (people who has no sense of art) that his photos and/or this video seem stupid... but hey u don't have a "f*cking" right to judge art! Some of his photos have adult contents therefore i didn't include any here... look at the bottom of the post for links.

Well everyone knows who's this guy, if not... i feel sorry for you! He got this amazing, strong voice and just nails any song he sings. He's like probably one of my most favorite artists out there. This guy has 3 solo albums which all of it made top 1 in US R&B charts and another collaboration album with The Roots which is released in 2k10. And he was nominated in 15 Grammy Awards and won friggin 9 of them! And here are only few of those amazing songs... Enjoy :)

Okay so this dude is chosen as my 1st Artist of the Day. He's like super awesome R&B Soul Artist. He got like 6 albums so far and the "WHAT THE HECK" thing is that 1st 5 albums all been ranked in top 3 albums of US R&B charts. How cool is that, right?
